The hunting grounds here provide a large variety of herds that come here to rest, graze and continue their migration as we do ourselves. Lush greens in the spring-autumn session, but when winter comes around, the game is scarce as they move on to find fresh vegetation not compltetely covered from snow.
You'll most likely find Elk, moose, caribou and occasional Bighorn sheep. Though predators like grizzly bears, cougars, lynx, foxes and other small or large carnivores come here. be aware of your surroundings.

Rosella stepped lightly, emerging from the enclosed forest at ease and pausing near some brush that converted into a small bedding of vegetation. She perked her lobes and examined the surroundings "Perfect.." she inquired softly with a coy smile that swept across her lips.

She could sight some bovine animals lurking in the night, grazing or resting in the shadows. She could hear an deep and sharp exhale of one of the larger games nearby. So it was obvious that were still game alive tonight.
Her
light beige fur, didn't blend as smoothly with the background, but
close enough that she remained still awaiting for the arrival of her
pack member, Jay. Holding her head on an angle, she evaluated a nearby
offspring of the caribou's herd. It seemed to be as of good distance
from the mother, yet she still was aware for what would happen.
Adjusting her position, she began to lay down and rest, sniffing the air
ever so slightly

Jay was running though the forest to a small opening. He ran though it to come to the fae. He panted slightly as he slowed down. He sat down and looked around.

He sniffed the air. He scented some sort of prey. HIs body tingled. He shook it off and came to his feet. He felt the ground. He felt the soft steps of the prey walking. He closed his eye's to feel exactly where he was and where the target was. He knew what the target was already. His eye's flashed open.

Jay looked back at Rose. He waited for her "go" He stood there about to race to the field and get the pack feed. He was serious he didnt want anything bad to happen. He went to a slow sit, Being easy to race off. He took a deep breath.

Hearing approaching paws, Rose stood and directed her attention towards Jay. "Alright, there is an offspring wandering from the herd, but the mother is near, try to drive it away and see what goes from there" she said in a whisper but softly enough to be heard. She started to pace back into the forest and sat down among her haunches and flicked her receptors, evaluating the herds movements once more before allowing Jay to go near them.

She whiffed the air, while having her muzzle tilted upward, inhaling deeply with scents penetrating her nostrils. No near predators. For now at least, she watched them and lifted her head,
"Okay, go" she said towards him, and watched for him to take off. She stood by, waiting for the attempt if the mother injures him. So she'll be here and wait for his move.

Jay nodded and walked a little further. He than heard her say "go" He took a deep breath and padded to the herd swiftly and queitly. He looked around with his ear's perked. He saw his target pop up again. It trotted right by his face. His maw shivered. He watched around. He spotted the big male, He was the leader of the herd.

Jay saw him stop and look around. His eye's got wide as he thought he was found. But luckly the male troted back to where he was. Jay got down very low to the ground. He was almost invisible. He shifted though the grass as a small female caribou. It was the target and only a yearling. Jay stalked it slightly watching every move. He waited for it to go in a corner.

The caribou started to play with other's. Its mother close behind it. He knew that the mother could easlyly kill him. He had to get the offspring alone, But he didnt know how to do it. He thought for a while knowing the alpha will be watching.

Jay saw his chance. He watched the young start to graze while its mother was walking to another fae. He let out a loud growl.
All the caribou looked up. The male let out a loud call telling them to go. Jay sprinted to the young fae. It started to run. Jay ran faster his body agile with his legs. He looked like a black cloud raceing. Jay came right up to the caribou's hoof. Jay jumped out and bit it hard.

Its body soon fell to the ground. It wasnt dead but just hurt. Its mother let out a cry. Jay looked up before latching on to it's small neck. The caribou sliped out of his grasp and tried to run with its mother. Jay panted hardly before easyly catching up to it.

Jay tackled it to the ground. The caribou fell and didnt have much fight left in it. Jay bit down hard on its neck. The grasp almost inpossible to break. Jay held it there intill the body becam limp.
Jay lightly dropped the small animal down. He looked up to only see dust. Jay panted hardly. He sat closely next to it. He looked around before letting out a loud howl in victory. He howled again telling his leader that the hunt was a sucess. Jay didnt start his meal intill the alpha came over.

Jay layed down in nedd of rest. He was still panting and wasnt in the time to drag the body back to the alpha. His body was wet with sweat and dirt. Jay waited for his alpha

Jay panted and got up as the herd cleared out. He got up from his lie. He nodded and grined as he heard the news. Jay watched her take a piece of the kill. Jay watched her pad off and was about to follow.

Jay looked up and saw all that was left was the dust from the ground. Jay panted slightly as he returned back to his sit. He sighed and mumbled "Well a good kill" Before he got up and bit on the limp body. He ripped a chunk of meat from its leg. He went a little farther away from the kill and layed down. He was protecting it with a growl every mintue when the birds returned to finish the kill off.

Jay chewed around the hoof. He licked his lips and looked around. Jay got up quickly as another bird came. He lunged at the bird with all his might. The bird backed away a little. Jay barked before lungeing again and bit its neck hardly. The bird fell and jay shook his head. Jay left the bird body knowing that another bird would pick its bone clean.

Jay went back to his hoof. He ate all of it and looked at the bone. Jay got up and shook the dust off. He walked to the kill and bit its shoulder. He pulled the carcass back to the den slowly. Pulling with all his weight.

Xahn Rei caught up to the grounds, the scents getting stronger. His banner swished, high spirited, and willing to find a pack to partake in. Returning to his dauntless spirit, he shook his cranium and kept trotting. He crouched, rolling into the green grass. He crouched, and pushed his hind legs up, then used his fores to push as his hinds landed. He was back on to the crouching position again. He repeated the process a couple times, just as fast as an experienced ninja would do. He started sprinting quietly to where most of the scents gathered in this territory.
